The R&D department carries out process development, formulation development and research for existing and new markets.
Florate believes that Research & Development (R&D) is the key for innovation and plays a decisive role in developing and adopting new technologies in the technologically rigorous specialty chemical industry.[
Florate has focused on undertaking dedicated R&D in areas, which we believe, have significant growth potential.
Florate believes that a systematic approach to selection of products, which involves evaluation of technical and commercial feasibility data, will result in commercialization of products with global acceptance.
We have a fully dedicated Research & Development facility which carries out development of new products based on market and customer requirement. Also, it strives for continuous improvement of existing products with new, more advanced grades.
We believe that our R&D has led, and will continue to lead to new, innovative economically viable processes.
These will help increase the efficiency of production including developing cost effective manufacturing processes. In addition, it will help us address opportunities that we have identified in the global market for our businesses.
SRL is committed to continually generating the IP assets for in-house developed generic products, polymorph, process and novel technology by filing patents and trademarks across India and globally.
SRL’s R&D team consists of dedicated scientists in their respective areas. Our state-of-the-art R&D center is approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology Government of India (“DSIR”) since April 2018.
